Note: The detail strip shall be performed by the government facility as designated in the contract or order. This table is intended for informational
purposes to mitigate contractor concerns in meeting requirements and serves as a reference for what the government will be verifying later.
C2
Verify the primer stock does not rotate on the primer tube when 20 ft-lbs +/- 10%, reverse torque is applied.
C3
Verify the distance from the face of the primer stock to the first vent hole is at least 9.1 inches.
C4
Verify no explosive particles are present on exterior surfaces.
M110
Verify the closing cup has 360° bead of varnish around lip of the cup.
M111
Verify the indent stamp on face of the primer stock is plainly legible, and contains MK/MOD, and manufacturer's lot number.
M103
Verify no sealing compound on primer electrode or the external threads of the primer stock.
M104
Verify electrode and insulator does not protrude forward of stock surface.
M105
Verify depth of electrode is no greater than .018", below primer stock surface.
M112
Verify complete assembly for electrical resistance of .10 to .18 ohms when measured by a test circuit limiting bridge current to 50 milliamps max.
Use primer stock and electrode as terminals. Apply 15 to 20 lbs-force to electrodes during resistance measurement.
M113
Verify the assembled length to be 21.363" +.000/-.089.
